Located in Bushwick, Millie's Cuban Cafe brings authentic cuban eats and drinks right to the heart of Brooklyn.
Opened in March of 2017, Millie's is the namesake of owner and chef Danny Teran's mother. Danny began his culinary career alongside his brother, Albert Teran, with Cuban food trucks Bongo Brothers and Miami Food Machine before making their way into brick and mortar restaurants. From the plantains to the cubano to the sangria, Danny and general manager, Elis Chirino - granddaughter of Cuban singer Willy Chirino, honor their heritage and Cuban roots with an authentic menu based on the dishes Danny's mother and their families served up in Cuba while adding their own Brooklyn twist. With Cuban favorites like the cubano and unique takes on classic dishes like the Dulce y Picante, there's something for everyone at Millie's - but it doesn't stop there. Stop by for your morning coffee and pastry or bring your own bottle of wine to give the sangria an extra punch!
